CHILD ABUSE
In Africa, child abuse is a rampant act that is seen as normal. Every child, well not every child most children are faced with hard labour. They are trained to fend for themselves, although it might not be so for all children.
Most African children, the less privileged ones are made to face difficult circumstance in life at tender ages between the range of 8 to 15 years while in some African country's the age range is from 4 years and above. They face danger, they endanger their life daily to make ends meet for the family.
This might be the same in some other continents but I'm focusing on Africa. You might ask why all this writing about it, well over many centuries it has been observed that words and letters are the best weapons to change the fate of and the course of a nation. Well now you know what I'm trying to do.
You the reader might have heard and maybe even know about all this. So if you have read thus far that means you have been paying good attention to what I've been saying or in this case writing. Well thank you so far.
This blog is open to sugestions and opinions so please let me know your opinion and sugesstion on how to make these writtings effective.
sexual abuse
Sexual abuse and violence are serious problems that transcend racial, economic, social and regional lines. Violence is frequently directed toward females and youth, who lack the economic and social status to resist or avoid it. Adolescents and young women, in particular, may experience abuses in the form of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and/or female genital mutilation. Accurately estimating the prevalence of sexual abuse and violence in the developing world is difficult due to the limited amount of research done on the subject. Cultural mores against reporting abuse make it difficult to assess accurately, and few adolescent health programs in sub-Saharan African address these critical issues.
